MARGHERITA ALMANSI (REGGIO EMILIA, 1878 – MONTEVIDEO, 1944)


 

 


She was the sister of the tenor Carlo Almansi. She studied singing with Callery Villani and Melchiorre Vidal and made her debut in 1898 at the Teatro Sociale in Busto Arsizio. In 1911, she transitioned to performing in operettas. In 1904, she appeared at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera. In 1908, she made guest appearances in Montevideo. She likely retired from the stage in 1910.
