ADOLFO SIRVENT (ALCOY, 2 FEBRUARY, 1894 – CARACAS, 23 MAY 1973)

Possessing a magnificent voice, he studied in Valencia (where he sang with great success at the Teatro Principal) under the patriarch Lamberto Alonco, who was also one of Bori’s teachers. In the 1920s, he appeared at the Teatro Tivoli opposite Marcos Redondo and Conchita Callao. In 1926, he made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and then made guest appearances in Berlin, where he recorded for Parlophon.
