He began his stage career in 1882
at the Hoftheater in Hannover and
appeared here till 1890.
On 26. 7. 1882 he sang at the Bayreuth Festival in the premiere of ‘’Parsifal’’. Married
to the dramatic soprano Josephine von Hübbenet.
