Gino Vannutelli (Tenor)

First he studied at the school of the famous actor Luigi Monti and made his debut as an actor in the company of Italia Vitaliani. Later he studied singing under the maestro Marucelli and made his debut in 1899 at the Teatro Reale in Malta as Guglielmo in A. Thoma’s ‘’Mignon’’. At the Giulio Marchetti’s operetta company he was heard by the manager Giacobazzi, who was engaged him for a long tour in South America, that kept him away from Italy for four years. He returned to Italy and appeared again in operetta always performing in the best companies. Later he created his own operetta company.
