Otto Lahnemann (Tenor) (? 1883 - ?)

He began his career in 1907 at the Hoftheater in Kassel, joined in 1909 to the Stadttheater in Halle/Saale and was engaged in 1912 by the Hoftheater in Braunschweig to which he belonged till the years of the First World War. He was known as an interpriter of the roles in R. Wagner’s operas like the Erik in "Fliegenden Holländer", Lohengrin, Tannhäuser, Siegmund in ‘’Die Walkure’’, Siegfried in the Nibelungenring and Parsifal. His repertoire included also Max in ‘’Freischütz’’, Hüon in ‘’Oberon’’ and José in ‘’Carmen’’. He sang as a guest at the Stadttheater in Hamburg (1908), Hoftheater in Hannover (1908, 1910), Hoftheatern in Dessau (1909), Karlsruhe (1910) and Weimar (1910, 1912), Opernhaus in Leipzig  (1911) and Stadttheater in Basel (1914).
