What a wonderful surprise to see here this great but forgotten bariton. He was part of a second generation of profesional opera singers in Chile, like Pedro Navia, Renato Zanelli and Sofía del Campo. He studied singing in Santiago, at the Conservatorio Nacional with Giuseppe Fornoni from 1901 to 1905. He first sang in the Municipal Theatre in Santiago in 1920 in Aida, Lucia di Lammermoor, Parsifal, the beginning of a good career here, in years there were very good chilean baritons: Emmanuele MArtinez, Renato Zanelli, Carlo Morelli.
