Oliva Petrella (Soprano) (Teramo 1880 - ?)




Daughter of the composer Errico Petrella, she studied at the Academy of Saint Cecilia under Zaira Falchi and she studied recitation with Virginia Marini. She made her debut in 1901 at the Fenice of Venice in ‘’Tannhauser’’. After the withdrawal she devoted her to teaching but after some years she accepted to sing at the Nuovo of Bergamo in some performances of  ‘’Wally’’.
