Rinalda Pavoni (Soprano) (Fabriano 1885 - 1968)

Probably her real surname was Pennari. She studied at the Liceo Musicale of Pesaro and made her debut in 1908 at Vittorio Emanuele of Turin as Micaela in ‘’Carmen’’. In 1913 she created the role of  Fleana in R. Leoncavallo’s new opera ‘’Zingari’’. After her retirement she devoted herself to teaching at the Liceo Musicale of Pesaro and soprano Marcella Pobbe was one of her pupil. In 1961 she performed in a recital opposite Gino Bechi.

  1. Pavoni was her real family name: she was the sister of my grandmother...
Unfortunately, we have no records of her fantastic voice (her career was really too short, since she decided to interrupt it when she married, to start teaching).
