Nelda Garrone (Mezzo-Soprano) (? 1880 - ?)



Probably she made her debut at the Teatro Lirico in Milan appearing in ‘’Cavalleria Rusticana’’ (1907). She finished her stage career in 1925.

  1. Thank you for the information! It was surprise for me when I realised that Nelda Garrone actually sang at La Scala for a few years, some performances under the direction of Toscanini. In 1918 she appeared there in the premiere of Alberto Favara's "Urania", and subsenquetly took part in the productions of Charpentier's Louise as Bianca and Giordano's "Andrea Chénier" as Contessa.
