Nikolai Sereda (Tenor) (Ukraine 1890 - Leningrad 1948)

In 1925, he finished the Moscow conservatoire in the class of G. Gandolfi. Sereda perfected his singing in Italy and Germania. During 1925-35, he sang at diverse theatres in Russia and duing 1935 -1948 sang at the Mariinski. Among his best roles were: Lenski, Levko, Berendei, Vladimir Dubrovski, Duca, Alfred, and Almaviva.
