Giovanni Genzardi (Tenor) (Palermo 1881 - Milano 1972)



He studied singing under the pedagogue Cantelli in Palermo. His stage debut occurred in 1903 at the Teatro Massimo as Alfredo in ‘’Traviata’’ of Verdi. He developed a successful career as a lyric tenor appearing at the leading Italian opera stages. During the 1920’s he was still active very successfully. After his retirement he spent his old age at the Casa di Riposo Verdi in Milan
