Enrico Giordani (Tenor) (1860 ? – Bologna 1905)




He was a famous comprimario who probably made his debut in 1886 at the Teatro Regina Margherita in Genoa as Dancaire in ‘’Carmen’’. In 1896 he performed in World Premiere of Giordano’s ‘’Andrea Chenier’’ appearing as Incredible. During his career Giordano appeared in Genoa, Milano, Napoli, Venezia, New York, Roma, Monte Carlo, Bologna, Paris and Boston. In 1905 at Bologna he committed suicide. In the year of his death in New York he made only two records for Columbia.
