Bice Silvestri (Soprano)

Her father was the famous bass Alessandro Silvestri (1951-1922), who had a prolific career at the famous italian opera houses. It’s very difficult to identify when she made her debut, but in the 1902/1903 season she appeared in different performances at La Scala under the direction of A. Toscanini. In 1904 she performed at the Teatro San Carlo, Lisbon in ‘’Pescatori di Perle’’ opposite Angelo Masini, also in ‘’Ballo in maschera’’, ‘’Boheme’’, ‘’Carmen’’ and ‘’Siberia’’. Probably she had a short career. In 1903 at Milan she made four records for Zonophone.
