Fritz Wolff (Tenor) (October 28, 1894 Munich, Germania - January 18, 1957 Munich, Germania)




First he became an officer and took part in the First World War. After the war, he studied under Heinrich König in Wurzburg. In 1925 he made his debut at the Bayreuth Festival as Loge in ‘’The Rhine Gold’’. Till 1942 he worked at the Berlin Staatsoper. Then he was drawn to the war service and got in Russian captivity. In 1950 he received a professorship in the Munich college for music and theatre.
